This year we rent for the first time four Apart Cabins for two persons. They feature shower, toilet, a kitchen area with microwave and a little oven, television, table with two chairs and two 1 person beds. The cabins can be rented for one night or for a week. The only thing you need to take with you is towels and bedding.

There are no dogs allowed in the Apart Cabins.

Camping de Krabbeplaat en-GB

Campsite De Krabbeplaat has one Standard Hiker's Cabin for rent and a Plus Hiker's Cabin with extra facilities. A hiker's cabins is a wooden house from over 10 square meters, for a maximum of 4 people. The furnishing is plain and simple.  The lodge is perfect for cyclists and hikers.

In the Hiker's Cabin there are no dogs allowed.

Plus Hiker's Cabin (incl. 5 pers)            € 56,00 (extra costs p.p.p.n. € 1,50)
An extra person (fifth person) in Plus Cabin costs € 3,00 for a child per night and € 3,60 for an adult

Standard Hiker's Cabin (11 m²)
A small wooden house with floor space of more than 11 square metres, the Standard Hiker’s Cabin served as the model for all other cabin types and can accommodate four people.

    - 2 Bunk beds (with mattrasses and pillows)
    - Table with 4 chairs
    - Two-burner gas stove connected to a gas cylinder
       (excl. kitchenware)
    - A light unit and electrical power
    - Cleaning materials and a clothesline

You will find a picnic table right outside the cabin. If you stay overnight in a Standard Hiker’s Cabin, you can cook using your own utensils and make use of the sanitary located facilities on the site.                      


Plus Hiker's Cabin (18 m²)
Plus Hiker’s Cabins (18 square metres) have the same basic contents as Standard Hiker’s Cabins, the difference being that they sleep five and feature a fully equipped kitchen, including a refrigerator and running water. This means you do not need to bring your own cookware and china. In the hiker's cabin is also a litlle living area. You can make use of the sanitary located facilities on the site.

The area around De Krabbeplaat campsite is unique. Everything a holidaymaker could wish for can be found in the immediate surroundings: the beaches and recreation lakes provide a rich water environment; cultural facilities can be found in the historic towns; and there are countless opportunities for discovering and enjoying the countryside in all its glory. The vast expanse of the polder landscape has its own charm. And, of course, it is always handy to have a major city within easy reach.

"De Krabbeplaat" campsite
A stay at De Krabbeplaat campsite really feels like a holiday. It is a four-star level family-run campsite with a great many facilities, situated in beautiful surroundings with unlimited possibilities for things to do. Young or old, family or couple, everyone feels at home at De Krabbeplaat. What makes De Krabbeplaat campsite so unique? The campsite is situated in a wooded area in a vast, beautiful recreation area next to the Brielse Meer lake, just a stone's throw from the sea and bordering on a region of extensive polders, pleasant villages and historical towns. The largest city in the area is Rotterdam, definitely worth visiting.

Family-run campsite
It is just like visiting family. The manager of De Krabbeplaat lives on the campsite itself. This makes the campsite a particularly appealing option. He is on site all day, and is very approachable for any questions. He knows his guests personally, and knows what they want. The personal feel of a family-run campsite is the decisive factor for many people in choosing to stay at De Krabbeplaat.



Campsite plots
Guests can enjoy the luxury of plenty of space at De Krabbeplaat campsite. The campsite is large and all the plots are spacious too. Each plot is at least 80 square metres in size and there is always room for your car. All the plots in the Edel field have electricity, a cable television connection and a water supply nearby. Sanitary facilities are always close by and are kept clean and in perfect working order. There are separate toilet and shower facilities for the disabled.

De Krabbeplaat has a special field available for hire by larger groups of 20 up to as many as 450 guests. It is the perfect location for school groups, for example. All facilities are within easy reach. We also have special low rates for the use of this field by groups. De Krabbeplaat campsite has special facilities for camper vans.
